Creative designer and co-director of Sanctus Stones®, Wendy Dugan is a mother of four adult children, who while developing an interest in alternative medicine and crystal therapy over the course of her life, has also managed to build up a thriving property empire. In 2006, Wendy sought a way to combine her passion for empowering people and an outlet for her creative talents– which signalled the birth of the first Sanctus Stones® Motivational Jewellery™ pieces.
Her two daughters – Heidi and Ann Marie form the other parts of the Sanctus Stones® triangle. With a background in real estate, Ann Marie has spent the past 7 years based in Europe with her professional soccer player husband and is responsible for the strategic planning and international growth of Sanctus Stones®. She also uses her keen eye for fashion and works with Wendy in driving the creative direction of the jewellery pieces.
Oldest daughter Heidi is based in Shanghai where she is celebrity TV presenter of a popular cooking show broadcasted on national and international television. With an extensive background in corporate training, Heidi brings her business brain to the Sanctus Stones® team, also driving the strategic direction and growth of the business.
Harnessing the concept of ‘wearable energy™’, Sanctus Stones® jewellery is hand-made using specially chosen, all-natural crystals or semi-precious stones which have been used since ancient times to help clarify thoughts, channel energy and promote healing. But while crystals have been used by many cultures from ancient Egyptians to Native American Indians to direct the flow of energy to a person, Sanctus Stones® jewellery is also importantly designed to encourage positive thought and action by acting as a visual reminder or affirmation for the wearer.
