My days are like see-saws.  When I last wrote in here – I was up, yesterday my mood seemed to crash and I began thinking that nothing was going to change and it was all just too hard. This morning lots of little things didn’t go to plan and then my “quick walk” with my dog before work didn’t prove to be so quick (  he became exhausted after too much play at the dog park and could hardly walk). 

I started to stress about being late and the heavy workload that was ahead of me.  I stopped for a moment and decided not to take the frustration on board and chose instead to focus simply on the walk home. Once I got home everything just seemed to fall in place and I had a fairly enjoyable day of work.  I felt more in “control” today. It was a good feeling.

After a little “discussion” with Heidi, I have realised that I do tend to play the role of a “victim” many many more times than I would like to admit so one of my first areas of focus is to try to change this and become accountable for my actions and to stop making excuses - yep – I do like my excuses for why I haven’t got the ideal job, or why I am not as fit as I would like to be ,or why I don’t spend as much time with my children as I want to…and I hadn’t really realised how much untill now.  Anyway…for the last two days I have had to be aware of any time I made an excuses or blamed others or those around me for my failings/lack of action to do things.. If I made such a  statement – I was told I had to put $2 each time into a jar.  When I first began I was a bit worried as I thought I would be poor very quickly, however I am happy to say – that the jar is still empty and I am feeling pretty positive. 

I tend to shy away from changes in my life, but at the moment I want to make lots of changes and become happier. I am still not sure of where exactly I want to be or what my goals are but at least I am making a start…I am a bit worried at this stage  that my new “positivity” will fade and I will retreat back into my old ways however hopefully this time it is different – this time I do have someone helping and encouraging me – so thats why i say…Bring it on…what have i got to lose!!

And I thought that this quote was so true “I am the master of my fate,I am the Captain of my soul”

Because we have the power to control our thoughts.

Thats what Sanctus Stones is all about good affirmations (thoughts)and jewellery that keeps your thoughts on your goals and desires.

And once you really DESIRE a thing so deeply that you are willing to stake your entire future on a single turn of the wheel in order to get it,you are sure to win.
