It’s a see-saw

Up and down, up and down. My days are like see-saws.  When I last wrote in here – I was up, yesterday my mood seemed to crash and I began thinking that nothing was going to change and it was all just too hard. This morning lots of little things didn’t go to plan and then my “quick walk” with my dog before work didn’t prove to be so quick (  he became exhausted after too much play at the dog park and could hardly walk).

I started to stress about being late and the heavy workload that was ahead of me.  I stopped for a moment and decided not to take the frustration on board and chose instead to focus simply on the walk home. Once I got home everything just seemed to fall in place and I had a fairly enjoyable day of work.  I felt more in “control” today. It was a good feeling.
